How I CAN HELP
I can help in a variety of ways. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is a tool I use to treat trauma, anxiety and depression. I practice other counseling modalities as well, including cognitive therapies. Most recently, I’ve been excited to offer a new group experience utilizing Acudetox. You can learn more about that below.
We can heal from our wounds and live happy lives. At my office, you’ll find a safe and caring environment that lends itself to meeting your counseling goals.
My journey to becoming a counselor has been through healing in my own life. Many people believed in me and gave me courage to become who I am today. I can provide guidance and support to you, as well.
I’d love to help you meet your goals for improving your life.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
In 2013, I received “Counselor of the Year” for East Tennessee by the East Tennessee Association of Drug and Alchol Abuse Counselors (ETADAAC).
I was also awarded “Counselor of the Year” for the State of Tennessee by the Tennessee Association of Drug and Alchol Abuse Counselors (TADAAC).
NOTE: I am only accepting insurance through March 1, 2019. I believe that insurance attempts to determine what and how I practice and can interfere with privacy. Investing in your own care gives you the freedom to get the help you need without 3rd party interference – and I have individual session rates and packages that allow for flexibility.
