HOW I CAN HELP
The nature of life is change. It is a series of transitions, big and small. We often encounter our greatest challenges and joys in these moments of adaptation. I use a blend of modalities to tailor treatment to your individual circumstances, with the goal of helping you or your child to become adaptable and feel capable. This includes traditional talking, art, music, writing, reading, sensory experiences, and sand tray. I am naturally curious about others, and find humor to be a huge support in the serious endeavor of seeking help. I also take into consideration the importance of sleep, eating, and movement on emotional health and will help you make adjustments in these areas for well-rounded growth.
I have worked with children on the Autism spectrum since 2010, and have been providing grief and illness support for all ages since 2011. I have worked in many environments – schools, crisis centers, hospice, homes, and clinics – and with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and parts of the world.
I specialize in helping children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing grief in its many forms (related to illness, death and other life-changing events), and in helping families adjust to the constant changes that come along with having a child with Autism, ADHD, or developmental delays. I can also help with anxiety, depression, or stage of life/existential issues.
Depending on individual situations and my availability, I can also provide in-home therapeutic sessions for children and adults within Maryville.
investment
In order to for us to have the freedom and flexibility to create a therapeutic experience tailored to your unique characteristics and circumstances, I do not accept insurance. My rate is $115 for a 50-minute session. I am happy to provide documentation for you to use your Out-of-Network benefits and I accept HSA in addition to cash, credit/debit cards, or checks.
