“It may be that when we no longer know what to do,
we have come to our real work,
and that when we no longer know which way to go
we have begun our real journey.”
~ Wendell Berry
How I CAN HELP
I’ve been in practice for more than 20 years, working in in-patient/wilderness settings, outpatient/integrated care, school-based and partial hospitalization programs. All of these environments, the professionals I was lucky enough to work beside, and the many clients I have been fortunate enough to work with, have offered diverse perspectives, challenges and skill sets.
My earliest professional experience was with adolescents; my graduate training focused on older adults and my early postgraduate years were spent primarily with children. I do enjoy the variety of people who enter my door and I especially enjoy adults in later phases of life.
I aim to match my approach with the needs of the client and I draw from Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy and other evidence-based methods.
I offer a safe space where you can explore, challenge, grow and heal.
