HOW I CAN HELP

Everyone has mental health, and it is more than okay to talk about your feelings. Let’s go beyond the intellect and begin to feel the feelings. This is where the true healing begins. If that makes you cringe a bit, you are probably in the right place.

My clients are often labeled as “a lot”. I enjoy working with women that are high energy, fast paced, overly involved, and absolutely exhausted. I have a passion for helping women to see that you are already more than enough, even on the days where your to-do list is nowhere near complete.

A common theme through all of my professional experience has been childhood trauma. For some, it led to addiction and homelessness. For others, it led to perfectionism. Everyone has their own story, which includes unique “quirks”. In therapy, we work together to understand  the question of “Why am I like this?”. As the expert of your own life, you provide the data. We collaborate to find out what is working well, what used to work well, and what needs to change.

My role as a therapist is to sit with your pain, provide education, help identify unhealthy patterns, tap into your own strengths, and learn to be okay with not doing everything, all the time. It is an honor to assist you in connecting the puzzle pieces and to see your light shine again.

I am a firm believer in the connections of mental health to all other aspects of health. When appropriate, we review aspects of finances, sleep, nutrition, movement and then connect you to other specialists if needed (ie: OT, PT, PCP, Chiropractor, Functional Medicine, etc).

The most important part of a therapeutic relationship is between the client and provider. My office should be a welcoming, safe-space for your toughest days as well as a place to celebrate new milestones. If we are not a good fit, I can refer you to other providers/resources.

Services are offered in person, via telehealth, or as a “hybrid” option.

INVESTMENT

My rate for individual therapy is $140.00 per session. I do accept a variety of insurance plans as well as private pay options. All of my insurance verification, eligibility, and billing is completed through Alma.
